Amazing portion sizes, especially for the price. Service was top notch and the whole place felt incredibly welcoming. I had to take half of my meal to go and it was just as good microwaved later! I've never had grits before and they totally won my heart. I think their sausage was my favorite part... absolutely bursting with flavor. I'll be back for sure. Shame there aren't more places in the lower mainland that offer this type of cuisine.

Trucker approved! A friendly and welcoming environment with great food and servings that won't let you leave hungry and do they're best to satisfy. Upon leaving noticed fresh baked pot pies from the oven, which they had 6 different flavors to try! super excited to have that for lunch on the road. All said and done cost under $30 for lunch endless coffee and my takeout pie.

This morning while checking out the Langley Ladies Social Circle Meetup Group on Facebook, they had mentioned a place called Nola West Cafe & Catering.....checked it out today with my son as we are both big foodies and enjoy trying out new places! Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a pleasant young lady who seated us and brought us some menus, the menu was extensive with true Louisiana style specialties! I decided to have the Beef Dip Po-boy with shrimp, crab and andouille sausage gumbo and my son had the double patty Rajun Cajun Burger.....was no disappointment that's for sure, huge portions and all locally sourced ingredients with everything cooked perfectly, nothing frozen, everything fresh! I bought an extra beef dip to take home for my husband and he absolutely loved it, said it was the best beef dip he's ever had! This is a place that's a little out of the way in the Fraser Valley but so worth the drive and closer to us as we live in Langley. They only opened last May so hopefully the word gets out that they are absolutely amazing and that more and more people will take the extra effort to go out there and check them out! They also sell homemade meat pies, as in Turducken, Irish Stew, Beef and Vegetable, Lamb and Chicken pot pie, half a dozen for only $40! Amazing authentic New Orleans style food in the Fraser Valley.....who would have known we could find a place like this without having to go to New Orleans.....definitely a must try!

Coming from Louisiana, I have been craving Cajun and Creole food. I ordered shrimp creole and etouffe. Loved it. Chef Doug made some fresh biscuits for us. Will be coming back for many times.

This place is epic! Highly recommend checking them out. I came for the New Orleans themed buffet and everything I tried was delicious!!! The mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had from a restaurant. They have a buffet Monday to Friday from 11 am to 2 pm and the theme changes daily. They also do a Sunday brunch buffet and I definitely plan to check that out soon. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly and that added to the great experience.

Just went to Nola West Cafe&Catering for the first time in Aldergrove. Amazing high quality food with huge portions and we loved everything we tried. My husband had the chef's choice lunch buffet $21.95 and sampled many things but really enjoyed the brisket and the sausage. Even the pasta salad was note worthy. I had the giant triple grilled cheese with the chicken noodle soup and they were both super tasty and well seasoned with lots of gooey cheese in my double sandwich..$15 We will definately be back! They are in an industrial park area of highway 1 and highway 13 and have short hours but are open some evenings and do a brunch buffet from time to time. Service was attentive and friendly and we shared a nice chat while my food was prepared. The decor is attractive and the restaurant is clean and you can tell they take pride in the place. They do catering as well and the trays we saw leave were stunning. Attached is a photo of my meal and the menu

I use to travel throughout the Southern US states as a kid with my family and have dearly missed cajun food. It’s not easy to find it here in the Lower Mainland. This place is hitting “home” for me. Thankfully, it does not have BC coast influences to it. It’s Southern cooking. Only negative note, I have for my meal is that the shrimp are slightly overcooked. I had the Marie Laveau sampler plate. Gumbo, jambalaya and a crab cakes with remoulade. I wish it did fill me up as much as it did so I could try other menu options during this sitting. I will be back. Thank you NolaWest
